At Reigate, the first part of the evening is taken up with courses. They are only accessible during the first four weeks and prior acceptance of your ability is a must. This is followed in the main hall by the social dancing when any current dancers are welcome to join us social dancing from 8.45 - 10.30pm. In the smaller hall the beginners have the hall to themselves from 8.45 - 9.45 and then join everyone else in the main hall for the chance to actually put everything into practice.
At Carshalton, all courses including our ‘rolling’ beginners class are scheduled between 7.45 - 8.45. After which we go into the social part of the evening when there is plenty of opportunity to put all that you can remember into practice with plenty of help for all the things you can’t remember.
The social part of our evening is precisely that.
We encourage people to mix and dance with as many people as possible.
Dancing should be a something you share with others.
Many people have found that not only have they learnt to dance but they have made friends with a totally new circle of people.
