 IDTA Registered

 

We are an IDTA registered dance school and we have qualified teachers who are enthusiastic about dance.  As one of our pupils you have the option of taking part just for fun, or taking open dance examinations with an IDTA examiner progressing all the way through the different dance levels, whichever route you choose we will help and support you.

Our Venue

​

We run all our classes from The Colman Redland Centre in Reigate which is a short walk from the station and just outside of the town. We use three halls there all of which have wooden dance floors.  This gives us the ability to run several classes for differing abilities all at the same time. There is free off road parking at the venue.

The type of personal information we collect 

We currently collect and process the following information:

• Your Name

• Date of Joining our school

• Number of times you attend and the amount you pay

• Your Phone Number

• Your E-mail Address 

• You IDTA PIN Number 

 

How we get the personal information and why we have it

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you on joining our club we also hold data gathered by the front desk on your attendances. 

We collect this data so that we are able to hold accurate details of attendances for tax purposes, for marketing purposes, in case we need to contact you in the case of an emergency and for class and financial planning. 

We may share this information with the IDTA in the event that you wish to take an examiner, in that case we need to provide your name and IDTA pin number to the IDTA.

 

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are: 

(a) Your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting Karen Toko (karen@courtdancing.co.uk)

(b) We have a contractual/legal obligation.

(c) We have a legitimate interest.

Your information is securely stored on a password protected computer.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
